With a career spanning XR, 6G, AI, and accessibility infrastructure, I specialize in transforming
bleeding-edge technology into real-world platforms. From authoring patents to launching
scalable ventures, I've spent years developing the real-time, spatially aware systems required
to redefine how we connect and collaborate.
I'm currently Founder of Relay Spatial, building real-time sign-language
interpretation by digital humans for broadcast, XR and mobile, starting with Portuguese Sign
Language (LGP) for Portuguese TV, to help broadcasters meet the European Accessibility Act.
I'm also a Google Android XR Trusted Tester after winning the Google Android XR
hackathon, building on-device AI for XREAL Project Aura on the Qualcomm NPU.
Previously, I spent 12+ years at T-Mobile, most recently as Principal Engineer for
Immersive Devices & Services, leading the development of AR/VR/XR and immersive IoT tools
that shaped the company's immersive devices roadmap.
I'm also the founder of the Lisbon XR User Group, fostering the next wave of spatial
innovation in Europe's fastest-growing tech hub.
The European Accessibility Act (EAA) isn't just a mandate — it's a catalyst for better design.
My mission: as we build the spatial web, we build it to be accessible, secure, and future-ready.
